California’s ambitious Ivanpah Solar Power Facility — a massive concentrated solar thermal plant built in the Mojave Desert — is being shut down after more than a decade of operation. Went on this road trip to film downtown Vegas and The Sphere and spotted this out of nowhere on the way down I 15 and was mesmerized by it.
