The disappearance of a community: In 1939, over 30,000 Jews, comprising 30% of the total population, lived in Radom, Poland. Gucia Grosfeld was one of them before she met her husband, Benjamin Frydmacher, who had relatives in the area. They married and moved to Lublin, Poland, where they had a child named Ruth.
