Feb 12, 2015 · As you can see, it is a PDI-8 which was installed by the Verizon tech that did the coax connection at the ONT (and brought the cablecards) and is rated from 5 to 1675 MHz. Each port of an 8 way splitter introduces 12.5db of attenuation, so I have a total of 18.5db attenuation between my ONT and the TiVos (plus whatever the cable adds).

The phone agent said they no longer offer the service….but I kept pressing, including the fact that my husband couldn’t use the remote and that their accessibility access was a real problem.

Dec 26, 2010 · To not mess up with the Quantum router, I simply connected the coax from ONT to the Bolt, and then Ethernet cable from Bolt to router. I already had internet provided to the Quantum Gateway via Ethernet. Installed Verizon FIOS a little over a month ago, and they connected both coax and Cat5e from a brand new GPON ONT to the router.

One time I reported that swapping the cable in the back of the tivo to a better one fixed some of the issues, but the pixellation came back on other channels. So I had the verizon guy come out and he ran a line test and he said the levels looked good.
