Mole Antonelliana - The National Museum of Cinema
Mole Antonelliana. An architectural landmark of the city of Turin, it was initially conceived as a synagogue, before being bought by the Municipality of Turin and made into a monument to national unity. Planned and begun by architect Alessandro Antonelli in 1863, it was only completed in 1889.
Opening hours and tickets - The National Museum of Cinema
9.00 - 19.00. In order to avoid queues, it is strongly advised to pre-purchase tickets online. The Ticket office is open until one hour before closing time. The last Lift ride from the Panoramic Terrace takes place 10 minutes before closing time.

11 October 2023 – 7 April 2024. The National Museum of Cinema in Turin presents THE WORLD OF TIM BURTON, the exhibition dedicated to the creative genius of Tim Burton. For the first time in Italy, the exhibition will be on view at the Mole Antonelliana.

The Museum owns a rich collection of around 3,000 records connected to cinema in several ways, from the heavy 78 rpm to the more classic 33 and 45 rpm. Through the soundtracks of hundreds of films, signed by great composers, one can explore the history of music for movies, but not only.
Film Archives - The National Museum of Cinema
The Museum’s film collection, a rare and precious heritage, started in 1942 when Maria Adriana Prolo bought the first film for 30 liras. Today it has more than 30,000 films, representative of the most diverse eras and filmographies, from Giovanni Pastrone to Werner Herzog.
