That indicates those LED's are OK. Mark the good section and then try another section. Works best in a slightly dark room. Yes, I have done this and it works.

Sep 28, 2020 · Insert the replacement led in the exact same direction as the one that came out, using the lead length as the guide. Plug it back in and remove the LED Keeper, plug in the string and hopefully you'll see light. If not, there may be another led in the string with a similar problem.

To confirm that it is not the bulbs I have swapped them out with the others on the string that are working and it seems to be the socket that is the issue.

Im trying to join 10 together into one string, each string is 12ft. I have not been able to understand exactly how to physically attach power from a wall outlet to these lights.

If I disconnect the second string and plug it into a different string or directly into an outlet then it lights fine. This seems odd that the first string would light entirely but not the second.
