You can connect your prime CR account to an existing CR account and access it through the app or online so if you're thinking about it through Prime because there's a special offer price, id say go for it. Prime sucks with hidive, though maybe thats just hidive being ass.

Oct 25, 2023 · There are two benefits to this: Generally the Prime Video app has a better player than Crunchyroll- skip intro options and seems to be more stable on mobile if you're casting a lot. BUT, there are some older titles that are zoomed in or something on Prime Video (Yu Yu Hakusho). Switching to Crunchyroll app fixed it.

Mar 6, 2022 · Roku is the best imo, cheap, fast and reliable. Next gen consoles and newer devices has the best app. (Example here and here) Another option is to just use HDMI from your pc. Feb 28, 2024 · Here is how to make Crunchyroll's Android TV app to play in high quality. Load an episode. If the quality appears low click the gear icon to go into settings. Click audio. Select the desired audio stream. This works even if you are not changing the audio language. The video will now be loaded in high quality. Hope this helps!
Crunchyroll App not working - Roku Community
Jan 5, 2021 · My Crunchyroll app is not working at all. I was just recently using it without problem and now every time I open up the app it crashes and goes back to the Home Screen. Other apps work without problems. I’ve tried resetting the Roku, checking the connection as well as updates but none of those fix the issue
