Beware of "Verify yourself to continue using Coinbase" Emails.
Jun 28, 2021 · Yeah the app or website is OK to verify, they do ask multiple times, anywhere else asking you to verify like through email is a BIG NO. Edit: Unless of course, you just signed up for Coinbase through the actual website/app and was expecting an email from them to verify your email (making sure it ends in @coinbase.com like the MOD commented).

Be sure to add your specific email provider (gmail, yahoo, outlook, etc) in your search. Jun 25, 2023 · I was wondering how they got my information, then checked the number the call came from, and it was 844-208-5005 which is apparently troubleshooting number for Coinbase Card (I don't have Coinbase Card though), also got the email that a case has been opened from my email (which I didn't). Damn, scammers are getting better.
