New bar and restaurant Roam opens on Ballard Ave
Oct 7, 2024 · There’s a new bar and restaurant on Ballard Ave: Roam has just opened at 5105 Ballard Ave NW. Roam is in the space where Ballard Loft used to operate, which closed in July. Roam owner Nicole Healy told My Ballard that the concept has been “a long-standing vision” that has “developed over many years in the industry.”

Eldr to open in former Samara location on Sunset Hill
Nov 22, 2024 · A new restaurant called Eldr will soon open in the former Samara spot on Sunset Hill (6414 32nd Ave NW). Eldr means “fire” in Old Norse, according to the General Harvest Restaurant group, which is behind the new concept. General Harvest also owns Haerfest in Fremont, Autumn in Phinney Ridge, and Vendemmia in Madrona.
