Have you considered the CIA? They love students and internships seem awesome. Although for the CIA it takes a year to year and half for the whole process because of the background checks. They go deeper than the FBI... They recently came to my school and the pay seems really well also competitive pay for STEM jobs/ internships.

Oct 28, 2020 · Many of the FBI employees still haven't gone back to the office full-time, so if you call an FO about the internship and get sent to voicemail, just leave a voicemail. It'll probably take a few days for them to get back. Make sure to clearly leave your full name in the voicemail if you want them to check your status.

THANK YOU!! edit: thank you everyone for your awesome advice-- I will accept the FBI Internship for now because I do think it is a cool opportunity and I'm not sure what I want to do with my life yet.
