Gracie Mansion is truly the People’s House for all New Yorkers. Under Mayor Adams' visionary leadership, Gracie Mansion has now fully reopened for all communities to enjoy access that’s more representative of the NYC population.

Gracie Mansion is an architectural treasure of our city dating from 1799, built by a prosperous merchant named Archibald. Gracie Mansion was a country house overlooking a sleepy, scenic bend on the East River, five miles north of what was then New York City.

More than two centuries later, Gracie Mansion is an historic treasure in the heart of one of the world’s largest and most vibrant cities. It is one of the oldest surviving wood structures in Manhattan, a member of New York’s Historic House Trust, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Public Tours are held on Mondays at 10:30AM, 12:00PM, and 1:30PM. Available slots are limited.
