It's 5 by 5 inches, down from 7.75 by 7.75 inches, and you can really see a difference when they're side-by-side. There were rumors that the Mac mini could be as small as the Apple TV, but it's not that small.

Nov 14, 2024 · I just got the new Mac mini M4 Pro, same issue with the same monitor. I have my MBP M1 Pro plugged in, and the 3840x1620 is the best resolution for me since the 5120x2160 makes things very small. I'm trying to look for a fix for this, unfortunately if nothings comes up, I will return the Mac mini.

Pro M4 modal comes with standard 24GB AND thunderbolt 5 ports for additional 400 dollars but modal choice depends entirely on your workflow. 200 dollars for RAM upgrade ONLY additional 8 GB RAM you will not see a major difference.

Nov 23, 2024 · My new M4 Mac mini is cool to the touch when in use, yet when it's asleep it's warm to the touch most of the time. I assume this is background tasks, but it does seem odd the fan is not controlling the temperature during sleep, I wonder if the fan is actually off during sleep - but it's silent in typical use, so I cannot tell.
