Netflix looks to have scored big with its Christmas Day coverage of two NFL games. It has set new streaming records for the league and avoided any technical glitches. However, the success looks to have largely been priced into the stock.

Netflix released its Christmas streaming viewership numbers on Thursday, saying that the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens

The NFL will embark on a new Christmas Day tradition starting this year. Christmas Day games have been played in the past throughout the NFL, but only on special occasions.  That changes Wednesday, as the league will play Christmas Day games in the middle of the week for the first time.
