Manchester United welcome their squad back to Carrington on July 7 - but Marcus Rashford won't be joining them.

Manchester United have told five senior players, including Marcus Rashford, to find new clubs as they prepare for a busy transfer window ahead of pre-season.

Manchester United have taken the No.10 shirt off Marcus Rashford and given it to new signing Matheus Cunha, sources have told ESPN.

United were understood to have informed Rashford of the decision ahead of the announcement. Cunha arrives with pedigree, scoring 31 goals in 76 games for Wolves and signing a five-year contract with an option for a further year. The symbolic nature of the shirt change makes clear where Rashford now stands in the club’s pecking order.
