Georgian forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has joined Paris St Germain from Serie A side Napoli on a deal until 2029, the Ligue 1 club announced on Friday.

Kvara was named the Serie A MVP when Napoli won the Scudetto under Luciano Spalletti in 2022-23. It was his first season at Napoli, which he had joined from Dinamo Batumi for barely €13m. PSG confirmed a permanent transfer exceeding €70m, and Napoli thanked their ex-player with a video on X, formerly Twitter.

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of Napoli's star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Sources told ESPN that Kvaratskhelia's move is worth €60m ($61m) with a further €10m in add-ons. The 23-year-old has signed a contract with the Ligue 1 champions until June 2029 after passing a medical.
