The New York Jets (3-7) head into Week 11 of the NFL’s 2024 regular season fresh off a 31-6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Saints fans also had something to cheer about for the first time since Week 2, as the team showed far more energy than it had at any point during the seven-game skid. That was a pretty big factor — along with Marquez Valdes-Scantling turning into Joe Horn for a half.

Entering the week, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers praised Baker on ESPN, calling him “a total game-wrecker.” He saw that first-hand on Sunday. Baker finished with nine tackles, including three tackles for loss. In the fourth quarter, he added a sack of Rodgers for good measure.

Kyler Murray threw only two incompletions all game, going 22-for-24. He completed his last 17 passes. This was humiliating on so many levels defensively. The Cardinals still ran the ball well, rushing for 147 yards, and totaled 406 yards of offense, the second-most the Jets have allowed this season.

The New York Jets are strapping on the pads at practice to get a grasp on their tackling woes. Interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said players will be in pads for individual drills Wednesday and then again Thursday for the entire practice after the Jets missed 20 tackles,
