From what we've heard about the Galaxy S25 Slim, it's going to be 6.x mm thick. If you've after the thinnest flagship phone you can buy in 2025, then it might well be the iPhone 17 Air – though these dimensions still need to be confirmed, of course.

For what it's worth, analyst Jeff Pu also backs the iPhone 17 Air to have a lone 48MP main camera, adding that the phone's front camera will be a 24MP sensor. That claim is consistent with rumors about the rest of the iPhone 17 lineup getting an upgrade from the current 12MP TrueDepth camera on iPhones.

Macworld In a new Medium post today, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo outlines a few expectations for the iPhone models coming this year. Most of it corroborates previous iPhone 17 rumors and Kuo’s own previous statements,

The key phrase here is “thinnest part” which indicates that the iPhone 17 Air won’t achieve this remarkable thinness consistently. This probably just means that the camera will jut out a little bit, as it does on almost all modern smartphones, but it’s possible that this could refer to a tapered design of some kind.
