A Christmas photo of the NASA astronauts who are still stranded on the International Space Station until next year has everyone wondering the same thing. It has been a long time now for Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been stuck in space since June of this year.

Every year, the International Space Station (ISS) delivers some of the most breathtaking and unique photography of Earth. From mesmerizing auroras to dramatic landscapes, the images taken by astronauts not only showcase their technical skills but also offer us a rare and stunning perspective of our planet.

Astronauts tend to be technically skilled with a camera, yes. Many of them are engineers, after all. Their real photography advantage, though, is the glorious view from space as they circle our planet every 90 minutes.
