The Detroit Red Wings need a top-four defenseman and a top-six forward if they want to look more like a playoff team.

Detroit Red Wings legend Alex Delvecchio died on Tuesday, July 1, at 93 years old. The Hockey Hall of Famer played all 24 of his NHL seasons (1950-74) with the Red Wings, playing in 1,550 games, winning three Stanley Cups and three Lady Byng Trophies during his career.
