An agreement was reached between the Culinary Union and Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, ending a strike that lasted more than 60 days. According to a joint statement from the parties, a new 5-year union contract was ratified on Wednesday by a 100% vote.

In a joint statement on Wednesday, the unions said preparations are being made to settle their new five-year contract with Virgin, one of the last holdout properties without a contracted unionized workforce near the Strip.
