Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the 46-year-old Egyptian national who allegedly threw two Molotov cocktails at the crowd of people raising awareness for Israeli hostages being held in Gaza, now faces first-degree murder charges in state court. He also faces attempted murder charges and a number of hate crime charges in federal court. He remains in custody.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman has been officially charged with first-degree murder, following the death of 82-year-old Karen Diamond. Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national illegally in the country, wounded Diamond and 14 others on June 1 at what authorities say was a terrorist attack at a pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder,

The attack on the Pearl Street Mall has now resulted in the death of Karen Diamond.
