Chestnut—who is widely regarded as the all-time great with 17 wins on the Coney Island stage alone— downed 70.5 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes on Friday, obliterating his competition in the process. 2024 champion Patrick Betoletti took second with 46.5, and James Webb trailed shortly behind with 45.6.

The Tom Brady of hot dog eating, Joey Chestnut, will return to the contest this year to try and reclaim his title after a brief absence (but not an official ban) from the competition. On the women's side, Miki Sudo will try to win it all for the fourth consecutive year.
