The Genesis Invitational, a golf tournament organized by the Tiger Woods Foundation, will move locations this year amid the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, the PGA Tour announced Thursday.

The Genesis Invitational is far from the only sporting event impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. The NBA's Lakers and Clippers and NHL's Kings have had games postponed. Monday night's Wild Card Weekend matchup between the LA Rams and Minnesota Vikings was moved to Arizona as well.

The Genesis Invitational, hosted by Tiger Woods, is one of the standout events on the PGA Tour calendar, but has been moved away from the Riviera Country Club due to the Los Angeles wildfires

The tournament, which Woods hosts and whose foundation is the beneficiary, is played in Pacific Palisades, the site of the largest of the Los Angeles fires.
