Vonn returned to the skiing circuit in December at the age of 40 and she wasn’t initially planning on racing at the worlds. But she’s made so much progress that she’s going to enter the super-G on Thursday, the downhill on Saturday and the team combined event next week.

Lindsey Vonn has completed pre-race inspection and is planning on competing in the super-G at the Alpine skiing world championships despite feeling sick with “a cold or the flu.”

Mikaela Shiffrin is not going to pair with Lindsey Vonn in a dream team at the Alpine skiing world championships. Shiffrin announced that she needs more time for training as she regains her form from a deep puncture wound and won't be entering the new team combined event at worlds.
