Future Hall of Fame point guard Russell Westbrook is fond of passing the game to the next generation, and he’s funded a number of AAU and youth teams in Southern California across the last decade-plus. Westbrook’s charitable efforts came back to bite him Wednesday night.

Russell Westbrook and Jalen Green shared a hilarious exchange during the Houston Rockets' rout of the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.

He used to play on my AAU team,” Russell Westbrook said jokingly after an exchange with Jalen Green. “Talking to me like I’m a little ass kid.”

Kids just don't respect their elders anymore. At least that's what Westbrook thought after being trash-talked by the Rockets guard in Houston's rout of the Nuggets.

Jalen Green was excellent and started feeling himself during the game, apparently trash-talking Nuggets' guard Russell Westbrook. The veteran Westbrook was confused after the trash-talk, going over to the Rockets bench and telling them about how Green played for his AAU team and is now trash-talking him.
