Rescue crews found the body of a British hiker buried in the snow of the Italian Alps and were continuing to search for his friend, who had also been missing since January 1, Italy’s rescue services said Wednesday.

The last known location of Aziz Ziriat and Samuel Harris was near a mountain hut close to the town of Tione Di Trento, on Lake Garda. The alarm was raised when they failed to check in for their flight home to the UK earlier this week.
