With less than 48 hours until the college football semifinals kickoff, NBC Sports’ Eric Froton (@CFFroton) took a dive into the player prop market and laid out a handful of his top plays for bettors.

The College Football Playoff semifinals feature classic brands in rare matchups that should make for riveting games leading up to the CFP championship game on Jan. 20. It also features four of the top-five scoring defenses in the FBS.

Although Ohio State made quick work of Oregon in the Rose Bowl, the Longhorns' defense might be one of the best equipped to contain the Buckeyes' potent offense.
