Game Science CEO and Black Myth Wukong producer Feng Ji  says the Xbox Series S' lackluster hardware is to blame for the game skipping Microsoft's consoles.

The head of Game Science, the studio behind the critically acclaimed action RPG Black Myth: Wukong, has hinted that the game's absence from current-generation Xbox consoles is due to optimisation challenges with the less powerful Xbox Series S.

Wukong developer Game Science has pointed the finger at the Xbox Series S over the lack of an Xbox version of the game.

Wukong took to the internet to lament the lack of game presence on Xbox, and blames the Series S's 10 GB of RAM.
