Congresswoman Plaskett, who previously served as a Member on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) during the 118th Congress released the following statement on her reappointment for the 119 Congress:

Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, representing New York’s 24th Congressional District, has been appointed to the prestigious House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). The committee, established in 1977, oversees the United States Intelligence Community, including military intelligence operations.

House Speaker Mike Johnson has removed Republican Rep. Mike Turner as chair of the House Intelligence Committee for the 119th Congress.
