MANCHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) - An armed suspect was killed in an officer-involved shooting involving the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the West Union Police Department. It happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday at 4175 Brush Creek Road in Manchester.
The only details of the incident come from the widow, Gabrielle Elola, who says her husband was protecting them.
The suspect accused of fatally shooting a man inside his Near North apartment more than two decades ago was escorted to Chicago to face charges.
Tommy Finley told Action News the couple was walking back to their hotel around midnight when he was randomly assaulted.
