The game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets scheduled for Saturday has been postponed because of rain and will be made up as part of a split doubleheader Sunday.

For a second season in a row in St. Louis, the Cardinals and Mets had a game wiped out by rain. And for a second time this week, the Cardinals are preparing to play a doubleheader because of inclement weather.

The New York Mets (22-11) will visit the St. Louis Cardinals (14-19), in the second game of a three-game series, Sunday at 6:15 p.m. ET. The Mets are favored away from home (-122) versus the Cardinals (+102). The Mets will give the ball to Tylor Megill (3-2) versus the Cardinals and Andre Pallante (2-2).
