Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story landed on Netflix earlier this week and has since left viewers divided

Chloë Sevigny also stars in the nine-part follow-up to 'Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story,' this time chronicling the infamous 1989 murders of a couple by their two sons.

"Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story" about two brothers who murdered their parents in the '80s. Judalon Smyth played a key role in the trial.

Released yesterday (September 19), the nine part series follows the 1989 crime that saw two brothers, aged 21 and 18, fatally shoot their parents in their Beverly Hills home. Their mother, Kitty was shot 10 times, while their father José was shot six times.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” is an ominous retelling of the infamous crime. Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, the second in their “Monster” anthology for Netflix follows brothers Lyle (an incredible Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Erik (an outstanding Cooper Koch).
