The Fire Marshal's Office says that a tent caught fire in Skowhegan and burned two people on Monday. At around 9 p.m., authorities responded to 61 Russell Road, where they reportedly found a leaking propane tank that caused a "flash fire.

Investigators say a leaking propane tank inside the tent ignited, resulting in a flash fire that destroyed the tent and its contents.

They say it appears they were living in the tent in a wooded area near Merrill Street between Russell Road and Coburn Avenue.
