EAST LANSING, MI – A human body and possible remains of a second person were found in a freezer at an East Lansing residence Thursday afternoon. East Lansing police say the incident is being investigated as a homicide. While no arrests have been made, East Lansing police say they don’t believe there is a threat to the public.

A 911 caller reported seeing blood on the floor inside a residence on Wintercrest Street Thursday, which led police to at least one body in a freezer.

The East Lansing Police Department and the Michigan State Police are currently investigating a homicide after human remains were found in a freezer of a home near Henry Fine Park. At around 12:08 p.m.
