A former Washington County Sheriff's Office deputy has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist last year.

Body-worn camera footage from a rescue on the Provo River has been released, showing how a ranger and bystanders helped save a woman who became trapped under a bridge.

Those recent crashes have Utah Highway Patrol again urging safety in the period known as the “100 deadliest days” between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
