Chicago police said the teenager was shot multiple times. He was transported to UIC Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released. No arrests have been made.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition. The shooting happened near the University of Illinois at Chicago outdoor field complex. No one else was injured, and no arrests were reported.
