Tucson Electric Power has been planning upgrades to the electric grid in Midtown Tucson since 2019 to address the neighborhood’s growing energy needs.
The North Plains Connector is expected to provide Avista with 300 MW of transfer capacity, and a 10% ownership share of the project.
