Patrick Mahomes rolled his ankle while throwing a touchdown pass in Monday night's victory for the Kansas City Chiefs over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He remained in the game but there was concern.

After the win, Mahomes decided to hand over the game ball to a young fan who was in a wheelchair. The Chiefs superstar voiced out his appreciation to the kid for supporting the team as Mahomes gifted him with a precious memento from the game.

The Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs overcame rainy conditions, a scare to their MVP quarterback and a feisty Buccaneers team to take a 30-24 overtime win and improve to a perfect 8-0 on the season.
