Hot on the heels of glowing preview coverage, we're experiencing some real whiplash today. Ubisoft has released a pretty convincing story trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Shadows on PS5, and we cannot deny it inspires within what was admittedly some flagging hype.

Ubisoft showed off a story trailer for Assassin's Creed Shadows, which is releasing on March 20 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC after being delayed twice, and has been streaming official gameplay from the upcoming title.

It's been a long time coming, but Assassin's Creed Shadows will finally launch in March 2025 — we got to play it, and it's shaping up to be the best entry in years
