In a surprise announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Nintendo confirmed that it is partnering with LEGO to release a build-your-own Game Boy. The LEGO Game Boy has been given an October release date, although pricing and number of pieces are yet to be revealed.

While Nintendo fans wait for the Switch 2, the company has revealed a LEGO Game Boy collaboration coming in October.

There have been plenty of Lego Nintendo kits already on the market, from interactive Mario sets to that fantastic NES recreation. This Game Boy idea is my favorite of all, though.
