Ukraine is working on a homegrown air defense system to rival the US-made Patriot system, according to the commander in chief of its army.

NASAMS will be deployed in Greater Taipei, with one located in Taipei’s Songshan District (松山) and the other in New Taipei’s Tamsui District (淡水), as both locations would be crucial in defending the capital, the ministry said.

Russia maintains a formidable collection of air defense systems, but it is being challenged by new threats and new competitors.
