Tennessee women’s basketball coach Kim Caldwell gave birth this week to a son and they are both “doing well,” a Volunteers spokesman said.

Caldwell arrived on Rocky Top after one year at Marshall where she led the Thundering Herd to a 26-7 record and a 17-1 mark in the Sun Belt Conference, clinching the school's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1997.
