Recently, Nicholson’s 34-year-old daughter, Lorraine, posted an Instagram photo of Nicholson relaxing at home. In the picture, Lorraine’s arms are wrapped around her dad’s shoulders. Behind them is a wall of bookshelves lined with the three-time Oscar winner’s awards.

The 87-year-old — who has not been seen in public in almost two years — made a rare and heartwarming cameo with his daughter Lorraine Nicholson in a recent holiday photo roundup.

In their photo, the pair were seen wrapping their arms around each other as they posed and smiled for the camera. Lorraine also shared a photo with her younger brother, Raymond Nicholson, whom Nicholson shares with his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Broussard.

Nicholson’s last film was the 2010 romantic comedy How Do You Know, which also starred Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson. His last hit film was 2006’s The Departed, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe.

Jack Nicholson, the actor known for his intense roles in The Shining and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, was last seen in public in the summer of 2023.
