“The Night Agent” star Gabriel Basso has opened up about what it was like playing Vice President JD Vance. Basso, 30, who portrayed Vance, 40, in the 2020 film adaptation of his book “Hillbilly Elegy,” says he finds it “kind of weird” to be a part of the “timeline” that tracks the author-turned-politician’s rise to VP.

The Netflix thriller star told This Morning it was "wild" that he was forever linked to Donald Trump's vice-president after playing him in Hillbilly Elegy.

During a late night appearance this past week, Basso spoke about the new episodes of the series hitting the Netflix schedule on January 23rd and explained the real reason he feels like it’s important to do as much as he can stunt-wise on the series.
