Ford recalled certain 2021-2022 Bronco, F-150, Edge, Explorer, Lincoln Nautilus, and Lincoln Aviator vehicles that are equipped with either a 2.7L or 3.0L. In the NHTSA report, the automobile manufacturer said that the engine intake valves may break while driving. This can cause an engine failure and a loss of drive power, the report said.

The component at fault is part of the fuel pump system in the trucks, which can have biodiesel deposits form on high pressure fuel pump components, causing a failure. This can cause a loss of power while driving and lead to a crash, according to documents filed with the NHTSA.
