Wednesday night’s Maximum Carnage episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 679,000 viewers on TBS, up 10.4 percent from last week.

The former AEW World Champion returned to the company on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite after the Hook vs. Christian Cage match ended in a disqualification. Hook had Cage on the ropes until other members of The Patricarchy got involved on Cage's behalf.

Maximum Carnage. The January 8th episode of AEW Dynamite featured a Casino Gauntlet Match, and the winner would challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage on January 15th.

Taz is back on commentary, as he was part of the broadcast team at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage. Taz previously missed over two months as he had to get knee replacement surgery. AEW wrote him out of programming as he was attacked in the parking lot ahead of the October 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite.
