After a year away from NFL sidelines, former Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll has returned to the NFL as to coach the Las Vegas Raiders.
Carroll will be 74 this fall, becoming the oldest head coach in NFL history 12 months after Seattle fired then paid him.
Carroll, 73, returns to coaching just over a year since he parted with the Seahawks. He replaces the fired Antonio Pierce with the Raiders. Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, became a part-owner of the Raiders in October and played a central role in the team’s coaching search.
