Despite greater interest in his concerts thanks to the new biopic, he’s choosing to play smaller cities this spring.

MANKATO, Minn. (FOX 9) - On the heels of the biopic "A Complete Unknown" which chronicled his early years in Minnesota, Bob Dylan has scheduled his first tour stop in Minnesota in more than six years. Dylan recently added three stops in the Midwest to his ongoing "Rough and Rowdy Ways" tour.

MANKATO (WJON News) -- Minnesota music legend Bob Dylan performs in his home state this spring. Eighty-three-year-old Dylan is scheduled to play at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato on April 4th.

Back firmly at the forefront of popular culture following the release of his biopic, Bob Dylan is returning to his native Minnesota for a show in April. The legendary songwriter will perform at Mankato's Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, the venue for his most recent return to Minnesota in 2019.

"A Complete Unknown," the biopic chronicling the swift pop-cultural ascent of Minnesota native Bob Dylan in the early 1960s, has been nominated for eight Academy Awards.

The tour begins March 25 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then heads to Wichita, Kansas; Mankato, next is Minnesota; and then Green Bay, Wisconsin. For the unversed, Mankato is the 21st-largest city in Dylan’s birth state of Minnesota.

The 2025 tour kicks off on March 25 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Tulsa Theater, followed by stops in Wichita, Kansas (March 29), Mankato, Minnesota (April 4), and Green Bay, Wisconsin (April 6).
