As companies roll back their DEI initiatives amid the political and legal firestorm around such programs, Costco is going against the tide.

President-elect Donald Trump will enact a swath of executive orders overhauling the federal government’s treatment of immigrants, transgender Americans, and diversity programs on Monday morning in an attempt to flex power hours ahead of his second swearing in, his team said Monday morning.

While most government functions will not be operating on Monday, most grocery stores, big box stores and restaurants will remain open. Major chain stores such as Target, Costco, Walmart, The Home Depot, Jewel-Osco and Mariano's will remain open on the holiday.
