Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver may be exactly what the Chicago Bears are looking for. Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that
You can tell when he walks into a room, he just commands respect,’ Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said of defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. ‘I highly recommend him for anyone. He’s a tremendous human being and football coach.
Coach Weaver is a leader of men and you could see that in how he conducts himself and if you ask anybody in the defensive room, he’ll tell you the same,” safety Jevon Holland said.
Miami’s defensive coordinator had previously interviewed for head coaching vacancies before taking the job with the Dolphins last offseason.
The Bears announced they have completed a head coach interview with Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
