WWE Raw Gets 4.9 Million Views in Netflix Debut, Doubles 18-49 Audience
WWE Raw showed some muscle in its Netflix debut on Monday night. The WWE franchise’s first Netflix outing generated 4.9 million “Live+1” (watched within 24 hours) views globally, WWE reports. (Netflix defines “views” as total view hours for the program divided by the runtime.
Premiere of WWE Raw on Netflix draws massive audience
Raw’s debut on Netflix took place in the Los Angeles Intuit Dome and set a company record as the highest-grossing WWE arena event of all time. The sold out crowd in LA also set a record for the highest-grossing non-Premium Live Event of all time in merchandise sales.
